People usually think that the opposite of love is hate. I disagree. True opposite of love is indifference. Hate means you still think about the person ever so often and have strong emotions for him or her. Realizing that a person you care about broke a promise to you should be upsetting. But when no emotions come about, you know that that person is no longer that important to you.

There is a thin line between love and hate...
that line is indifference...
s2k: not really, indifference is totally don't care about the other person anymore, but then people can have love-hate relationship, because it means they have really strong feelings for each other.
