Every day people will be faced with problems, decisions and challenges. Some bigger some smaller. Sometimes we lean to others when it is too heavy to be supported by a single person. Sometimes we voluntarily lend a hand to those we feel need it... to solve such puzzles, usually it takes an objective mind. That is when an unbiased person would be of great help. But when all is said and done, all we can do is advise and it is up to the other person to decide to take it or not, as my mom taught me indirectly many times over... we are not to blame if things go bad regardless of whether that person takes our advice or not... though when we do care about the person, it is easier said than done...

very true... you can give all the advice in the world, but its up to that person getting the advice to take it or just ignore it and do whatever they want...
still, it makes you wonder if its every worth it giving advice to ppl if you know they are not gonna take it...
to take the advice or not is on that person's behalf... but on our behalf, but at least giving the advice, we have already did our part in warning them..... and we will never know for sure if that person will or will not take it....
