The Little things....

In our current lifestyle, people are chasing after big dreams, living in huge houses, eating elaborate meals, travelling to exotic destinations, and working themselves to the brink of exhaustion to achieve all that... People say they work for things that make them happy... but is it worth it?

To me, life should be enjoyed everyday. 'Do not put off to tomorrow what can be enjoyed today' says the magnet on my fridge. To many people I take life too seriously, and perhaps no fun to be around. That is true, because I grew up with the expectation of being the responsible one... I just never learned to lighted up. But at the same time, there are simple things I enjoy but perhaps others do not understand.

The chef in me is happy when she cooks something people enjoy

The photographer in me loves getting memorable photos

The organiser in me feels the rush when an event is completed successfully

The explorer in me gets excited at the prospect of going new places

The bold me enjoys speaking and connecting with a crowd

The reserved me occasionally just sits back and enjoy the flow of other people's conversation

There are many more little things.... the smell of coffee in the morning.... certain songs.... but for my little bit of happiness today came after rearranging my house's whole top floor....

My bags are all arranged according to colours and sizes!!! =D Strange but true.....

And DC's birthday present to me finally gets filled ^.^ though ph taking up the biggest portion of the little princess frame maybe slightly weird....hehe...

Thinking of waking up to cool fresh air.... (not likely to happen here....)
