The swine-flu has reached pandemic level.... in other words it is unstoppable... kinda scary reading the news....to my friends in areas affected please take care of yourselves.... though there was something funny in this section of depressing news (newspapers basically carries depressing news anyway)....
When free, go get a copy of today's The Star and turn to W37 (page 37 under world news).... You will find a picture with advice to do with the disease. Under the heading "Swine-Flu: Do's", the third point reads:
'Maintain at least one arm distance from people suffering with SPINE-FLU'
I am not kidding, it says that exactly, with the capital letters .... just wondering when the flu virus evolved... strangely enough, every other part of the billboard used 'swine-flu'.
Out of curiosity, I googled spine-flu and found that the term is actually used but the definitions are 'disease appears to weaken the resolve of individuals to ask important questions, do thorough analysis, and make logical conclusions' used for journalist and 'where suddenly a politician or a political party finds self respect and start expecting the same amount of respect from others' for politicians.... absolutely nothing to do with actual flu....
Going to sleep happy with cool weather after heavy downpour....
