A bit much?

Simi has a guy friend who for some reason always flinches around her. Like if he sits next to her playing his phone and she leans over to watch the game, he flinches... very very obviously. Like when an elephant who sees a mouse. Then the other day, when they were walking side by side, she accidentally bumped him and he jumped a couple of centimeters away. So she finally gave up and asked why he does that. His answer was because she is scary. Simi was stunned and then told all his friends what he said. One guy tsk-ed at him while another asked her is she happy or insulted from that comment. She did not know how to answer, while it is a bit insulting to say that she is that scary, it is also funny that a girl can make a grown man flinch that easily. The Flincher then covered up with, "you don't know what the meaning of sarcasm is it?"
